UNCG Cram & Scram
October 9 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
UNCG Cram & Scram
UNCG’s annual Cram & Scram is right around the corner.
It will be held Oct. 9 at 9 a.m.–3 p.m. in the Elliott University Center Cone Ballroom. It is open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
The popular event gives students a chance to purchase used items collected during UNCG’s campus move-out in May.
There’s no telling what you’ll find each year. There is always lots of clothing, but you may also come across some household essentials at prices you can’t get anywhere else. Everything costs just $1, making it an easy way to find useful items while staying within budget.
This year, representatives from Late Checkout Thrift, the new thrift store in The Shops at Spartan Village, will be assisting with the event. They will have coupons and information to share about their year-round offerings and opportunities to donate clothing.
Late Checkout will be joined by Littlefoot Matcha, which will have its matcha cart stationed just outside of the Cone Ballroom and serving up signature drinks during the event. Littlefoot Matcha also operates a full-time cafe in the back of the Late Checkout’s storefront in Spartan Village.
Cram & Scram is about more than giving UNCG students a bargain. It supports the University’s commitment to sustainability by keeping usable items out of landfills and giving them a second life through the campus community. This is a fun and affordable way to shop while supporting the campus’ green initiative.
Bring your friends, browse the selection, and see why this is such a big draw for Spartans and the surrounding community. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
