M.S. in Kinesiology, Clinical Exercise Physiology

Elevate your career as a health professional with UNC Greensboro’s M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology. This campus-based, non-thesis program is designed for students who are passionate about improving the lives of individuals with, or at high risk for, chronic diseases. Through a blend of rigorous coursework and hands-on internship experiences in top medical settings, our program prepares you to excel in exercise programming and diagnostic exercise testing. With accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), you’ll gain the competencies and clinical hours needed to succeed in careers as cardiac rehabilitation specialists, mobility specialists, exercise physiologists, clinical exercise specialists, and fitness managers.

FACULTY AND FACILITIES

UNCG’s clinical exercise physiology courses are taught by nationally recognized faculty with advanced knowledge in diverse applications such as energy balance, sleep, cancer and exercise, endocrine influences on exercise responses, physical activity and exercise prescription, body composition, cardiovascular and heart rate variability.
