Dr. Adrienne Craig has been named Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. In this position, Dr. Craig’s focus will be Student Engagement, and her team departments include Campus Activities & Programs, Career & Professional Development, the Elliott University Center, the Office of Intercultural Engagement, and the Office of Leadership & Civic Engagement.

She joins UNCG from Columbus State University in Georgia, where she served as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs since 2016. Prior to that, she held positions at Widener University (Pa.), Johnson & Wales University (Fl.) and Guilford College. She is an alumna of Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech, and she earned her Doctorate of Education from Wilmington University (Del.)

Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Cathy Akens made the announcement last week.

are confident her leadership will help us advance our goals around engaging students in meaningful ways in the co-curricular life of the campus.”

Dr. Craig’s first day was Monday, January 27. Her office is in the Student Affairs suite in the Mossman Administration Building.
