Blue and yellow light sticks are installed on the EUC lawn in celebration of UNCG Founders Day.

On Thursday, October 6, the campus will be alive with festivities in celebration of UNC Greensboro’s 130th year.

Founders Day is recognized as the anniversary of the first day of classes on October 5, 1892.

This year, due to Yom Kippur, Founders Day will be celebrated on the day after.

Be on the lookout for breakfast treats, T-shirts, and giveaways throughout the campus from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Then, from 1:30 – 3 p.m., there will be a party on Kaplan Commons (Elliott University Center Lawn) featuring music, yard games, awesome freebies, photo booths, T-shirts, and of course, birthday cake!
