UNCG’s M.Ed. in Teacher Education offers several programs specifically designed for working education professionals, with convenient offerings including evening and weekend classes, full- or part-time options, and on-campus or fully online courses. For fully online programs, synchronous courses meet one evening per week, allowing you to connect and collaborate in real time with other practicing teachers across North Carolina. With just 30 credit hours these M.Ed. in Teacher Education programs are designed to fit your personal and professional life—so you can maximize your time while advancing your career.
Online Advanced M-Licensure Concentrations
These are our most convenient options, offered fully online with synchronous evening classes that allow you to interact with peers and apply your learning in real time.
We also offer additional M.Ed. concentrations for K-12 educators that meet in person at our Greensboro, NC campus. These include Middle/Secondary Social Studies, Middle/Secondary Mathematics, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). (TESOL is a hybrid online/in-person program. Credit hours vary by program.)
