Men’s Golf

The UNC Greensboro men’s golf team and Head Coach Terrance Stewart have announced their 2023-24 schedule featuring 10 regular season tournaments.

“Our schedule will prepare the team once again for a run in the NCAA Tournament,” said Coach Stewart. “We are very excited to be hosting our inaugural Bryan National Collegiate at Bryan Park and our two events in Puerto Rico at TPC Dorado Beach and Palmas Del Mar.”

QUICK FACTS

  • The 2023-24 season will feature 10 regular season tournaments and one individual tournament (Phoenix Invitational).
  • The Spartans will be the host for three tournaments in the 2023-24 season. Outside of the squad’s home tournament in Greensboro, N.C. for the Bryan Park Collegiate, the team will host its other two tournaments (Palmas del Mar Collegiate and Dorado Beach Collegiate) in Puerto Rico.
  • UNCG will compete in four of its tournaments this fall, with the other six coming in the spring.
  • The team will start the 2023-24 season off in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Bearcat Invitational from Sept. 18-19, hosted by Cincinnati.
  • UNCG will conclude its regular season schedule at the Stitch Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State in Raleigh, N.C.
  • The Southern Conference (SoCon) Tournament will be held in Greensboro, Ga., from April 21-23 at Reynolds Plantation.
  • The team looks to repeat a run in the NCAA Tournament again this year with NCAA Regionals being held from May 13-15. The NCAA Championship will be from May 24-29 in Carlsbad, Calif.

Women’s Golf

The UNC Greensboro women’s golf team and Head Coach Ashley Leonard have announced its 2023-24 schedule, including eight regular season tournaments.   

“I am excited about the schedule this season! We have a couple of new events that will have a very talented field and will test us,” said Head Coach Ashley Leonard. “We are also excited to be hosting two events this season, one here in Greensboro at Forest Oaks Country Club and the other in Palm City, Florida at Hammock Creek GolfClub. We are looking forward to the challenges and opportunities our team will face this season.”

QUICK FACTS   

  • Eight regular-season tournaments  
  • The Spartans open the season from September 18-19 at the Elon Women’s Invitational hosted in Burlington, North Carolina at Alamance Country Club.  
  • UNCG will host two tournaments this year, the first one being the UNCG Collegiate at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., from October 9-10. The second one, Advance GolfPartners Collegiate, will be played at Hammock Creek Golf Club in West Palm, Fla. from February 11-13.  
  • The Spartans will compete in four tournaments in North Carolina, two in South Carolina, and one each in Colorado, Florida, and Puerto Rico.   
  • UNCG will preview The Southern Conference (SoCon) Championship course from March 15-17, during the Low Country Invitational hosted by SoCon rival Wofford at Moss Creek Golf Club.   
  • To begin postseason play, with a chance to play into the NCAAs. UNCG will compete in the three-day SoCon Championship April 14-16 on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
