The spirit of fall and Halloween has come to the UNC Greensboro campus. Students, faculty, and staff can choose from several events to trick-or-treat and celebrate.

School of Nursing Health Fair
“Teach or treating” as well as music will be part of the School of Nursing’s 2022 Health Fair on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Jackson Lawn.
Participants can also take part in a chill out zone, donate canned foods to the UNCG pantry to be entered into a raffle, and discuss good habits related to physical and mental health.
Drag Bingo
Join ACE and OIE for an evening of Drag Bingo on Thursday, October 27 at 7-9 p.m.
The spooky edition hosted by and featuring the very best in drag entertainment in the EUC Cone Ballroom. Wear a costume to be entered in the best costume contest. The first 50 students get a special treat
Fright Night at Piney Lake
The 3rd Annual Fright Night is Saturday, October 29 at 6:30-10 p.m. Test your bravery along the haunted trail at Piney Lake. Be ready for whatever might jump out. The only way to experience the trail is by signing up for a time slot; secure a block ASAP by signing up online or in-person at Outdoor Adventures (located in the lower level of the Kaplan Center). If the slots are full, come out to Piney Lake anyway for other Halloweekend activities on the lawn, and maybe a spot will open up on the trail.
Ashby College Haunted House
Open to all UNCG students and the Greensboro community. Join hundreds of Spartans for the scare of a lifetime! Ashby College Haunted House will take place on Saturday, October 29 from 7 p.m. to midnight in Mary Foust Hall.
Admission is $5 or $3 with a canned food donation. All proceeds benefit The ARC of Greensboro and the Spartan Open Pantry.
School of Health and Human Services Trick-or-Treat Trail

All UNCG students are invited to trick-or-treat on Monday, October 31 from 2-5 p.m. Costumes are highly encouraged but not required.
Those who visit all of the HHS departments can fill out a passport and be eligible to spin the prize wheel for items, including Amazon gift cards, $25 Bestway gift cards, and HHS shirts.
Stop by the HHS Advising Center between 2-6 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Moore Building for a party and refreshments! Bring the completed passport to win prizes.
Anyone not able participate in person can find an online scavenger hunt option to get in on the fun and win prizes. The link is on the HHS website.
HHS students who have advising questions can ask the HHS team for help or schedule appointments. Students interested in a major or minor can also take the opportunity for an informal conversation about the programs.
Halloween Movie on the Lawn
Watch Get Out and win giveaway items. The movie starts at Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. on the EUC Lawn. Organizers are giving out candy bags, blankets, tumblers, and projectors. Spin the wheel and see if you are lucky.
Horn Choir Halloween Concert and Annual Organ Spooktacular
The College of Visual and Performing Arts will present two free concerts to create a haunting soundtrack for all Halloween festivities.

The Horn Choir Halloween Concert will be held Monday, October 31 at 7:30-9 p.m. at the Tew Recital Hall. Anyone who cannot attend in person may listen here.
Also on that day, the Halloween Organ Spooktacular will present a mix of traditional music and Halloween “carols” at 7:30-9 p.m. at the Organ Hall. Everyone is invited to dress up in costume. Performers will give out candy after the performance. New this year is an “open bench.” After the concert, the audience will be invited to see the organ up close and try out some of its different sounds.
