Lorenzo

On Friday, October 14, an official naming ceremony will be held for the N. Frank Woods, Jr. Library and the Lorenzo “Logie” Meachum Lecturer’s Office.

This event takes place 4 – 6 p.m. in Room 225 of Curry Auditorium, then moves upstairs to Room 349, the AADS suite, for the reveal of the name plates and plaques.

The Meachum family, members of the Greensboro community, students, alumni, faculty and staff are all welcome.

Performances, testimonials, and poetry will bring everyone together to celebrate the beloved founders of Black Studies and the future aspirations as AADS. There will also be a special announcement made at the event.
