As we begin this new semester, University Communications has some new assets available for you to use.
Shield Our Spartans:
The Shield Our Spartans icon has been updated to include a vaccine vial. You can obtain a new suite of Shield Our Spartans icons as well as the individual vaccine vial graphic by visiting the UC brand guide website. Please update your signage with this new icon. Please know that UC is in the process of updating flyers with this new icon as well. In the future, we expect to update the language associated with the Shield Our Spartans icon in support of the vaccine effort, and we’ll communicate that as it develops.

UC has also created a new Spring 2021 Key Dates wallpapers for desktops and tablets.

We have a couple of new giphy animated stickers, viewable here.
Photography & Video:
In the fall, the UC team visited classrooms and areas on campus to capture student learning and life on campus. Many thanks to those who helped us schedule our visits in classrooms and beyond. The still photographs are in Merlin for your use. We have added new narrative videos and editors cuts to the Video Resources page. Specifically, we have added the following to Merlin and to the video resources page:

- Interior Architecture Remote Learning
- Kaplan Center Reopens
- Nursing Simulation Lab (editor’s cut only)
Also on the Video Resources page you’ll find new guidance regarding lower thirds, graphics used to identify a speaker on screen. As you produce new videos, please update your lower thirds to use sofia pro regular as described.
