Art Comes Alive for High Schoolers in UNCG Summer Camps

Registration is now open for camps held each year at the College of Visual and Performing Arts. These camps are a big draw for kids who want a deep immersion into art and music and want to work with professionals in an art style of their choosing.

Career and Internship Fair Held in February

The fair on Feb. 25 runs noon–4 p.m. Employers representing industries across North Carolina and beyond will be here to connect with students from all majors, and their mentors are asked to encourage them to take up this chance to find internships, part-time roles, and full-time positions.

Body Image, Self Worth, Healthy Eating Round Out February Employee Wellness Events

Valentine’s Day sentiments carry on through UNCG’s employee wellness program. Before February ends, you can take part in guided meditation, an esports day, an expert talk on healthy fats, and a women’s table talk on body image and self-worth, led by UNCG’s psychology faculty, Dr. Janet Boseovski and Dr. Ashleigh Gallagher.

Deadlines for Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creativity urges students to prepare for two upcoming deadlines. Submissions for the Undergrad Research and Creativity Awards, offering up to $5,000 in support, are due February 16. The deadline to sign up for the Carolyn & Norwood Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Expo is Feb. 18.
