Dr. Colleen McGovern (School of Nursing) received new funding from The University of Rhode Island for the project “School-Based Asthma Therapy (SBAT) to Reduce Disparities in Childhood Asthma: Pragmatic Process & Program Implementation Evaluation.”

The goal of this study is to conduct a Hybrid Type II implementation-effectiveness trial of the SBAT program; conduct an evaluation of the SBAT implementation methods and process; and develop a multi-faceted national dissemination strategy for the SBAT program
