Dr. Noel Mazade (Office of Research and Engagement) received new funding from the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals for the project “Consultation and Planning Assistance to Develop New Leadership Fellows Academy (LFA) in Rhode Island.”

The project team will provide selected training, technical assistance, logistical, and other support services to the BHDDH to enable its launch of a new and innovative Leadership Fellows Academy (LFA). As a new endeavor, the assistance to be provided will start with the successful LFA model used in North Carolina and may be modified to meet the needs and interests of peer and recovery consumer operated nonprofit organizations in Rhode Island.
