About me

My name is Austin Lawson and I am currently a second year mathematics Ph. D. student and teaching assistant at UNC-Greensboro. My current research interests include Coarse Geometry and Computational Topology (particularly Topological Data Analysis, TDA) both under the direction of Dr. Greg Bell.

My career interests lie in the realm of data science. This interdisciplinary field has introduced a new means of scientific discovery. Data science is reshaping how we think about the world, and more importantly, how we make decisions. Currently, my interests lie in marketing or human resources analytics.
