Hunter An
Biography
Hunter An is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bryan School of Business and Economics. Dr. An received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Alabama. He joined the faculty at UNCG in 2013.
Dr. An’s research areas include corporate finance and real estate finance. He has published in multiple journals, including Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Accounting Studies, and Real Estate Economics.
Dr. An teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance. His service to the Bryan School and University has included membership on the Finance Curriculum Committee, and the Committee on Research. He works with other faculty to coordinate the workshop of the Department of Accounting and Finance.
