Cardiovascular diseases and intervention
Dr. Avorgbedor’s research focuses on cardiometabolic health of reproductive women, pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and women with recent pregnancy complications, as well as interventions, to promote healthy pregnancy and infant outcomes. Dr. Avorgbedor’s interdisciplinary research explores the impact of biological factors, physical and built environment, including social determinants of health and health outcomes of reproductive women and infants. She has expertise in biosocial, longitudinal cohorts, and clinical intervention research methods.
