UNCG cheer performs on the basketball court at the Greensboro Coliseum.

UNC Greensboro promotes fun competition whether it’s with a basketball or a controller. UNCG Esports Night at the Swarm returns on February 7 at 7:00 p.m.

The Spartan spirit will be on display throughout the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to help pump up the fans of the Greensboro Swarm during the game against the Austin Spurs. UNCG Esports is a sponsor of the game, and representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the opportunities Esports provides not only for UNCG students, but for high school students across North Carolina, and the community.

UNCG students are eligible to purchase discounted tickets by clicking this link. Five students who purchase through the link have the chance of being upgraded to courtside. There’s also a chance to win free giveaways and participate in the on-court activities. Vesa Basha, a sophomore majoring in music in performance, popular music and technology, will sing the National Anthem.

Faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets here with a chance to be upgraded to courtside and win a jersey or tickets to the Charlotte Hornets.

UNCG is excited to spend the evening with community members who are in it for the game and eager to learn more about what the Esports program has to offer.

Faculty and staff can also enter a giveaway for two tickets to one or more of the Swarm home games, from February 7 through March 23. Anyone interested can sign up here. Winning names will be drawn five days before each game.
