This year’s University Concert and Lecture Series features Leslie Odom Jr. and The Count Basie Orchestra, and School of Theatre productions are always in the works.


2. Stroll Through Campus

Enjoy the nature and architecture of our beautiful campus, which was designed by the same landscape architect behind the Biltmore Estate and the Village of Pinehurst.


3. Take a Class

Learning never stops with UNCG’s Emeritus classes, which are open to the public and cover a range of topics.


4. Engage Your Kids

UNCG departments come together to host Science Everywhere in April with fun experiments for kids and hands-on learning stations. UNCG departments also hold summer camps covering arts, science, sports, and other interests.


5. Catch a Game

Spartans play Division 1 soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball, and tennis on campus. Get a courtside seat to watch our hoopers make a run for the NCAA tournament this year!


6. Be Inspired by Art

Visit the Weatherspoon Art Museum’s art galleries, sculpture courtyard and peaceful spaces.

7. Read, Study, and Research

Jackson Library is open to public with a huge selection of books to loan for study or pleasure reading and special collections for viewing by appointment.


8. Hire a Student

75% of UNCG’s student body hold jobs, which means UNCG provides a steady pool of hardworking students for internships and part-time work in Greensboro.
