The online post-baccalaureate certificate in Educational Assessment gives school district testing coordinators and other school administrators the opportunity to acquire focused education in educational assessment and evaluation. Through the Department of Information, Library, and Research Sciences, they will enhance their understanding of Educational Research Methodology (ERM). They earn their certification upon completion of a fully online 15 credit-hour program.

Earning A Certificate in Educational Assessment Online

Students in the online Educational Assessment certification program will complete 15 credit hours. Their coursework includes Methods of Educational Research, Educational Measurement and Evaluation, and Data Visualization and Presentation.

The Office of Assessment, Evaluation, and Research Services (OAERS), a division of ILRS, offers valuable research and evaluation support and student training opportunities. OAERS houses and supports a comprehensive internship matching program. ERM graduate students will be able to find professional organizations seeking practical experience in assessment, program evaluation, or research methodology.
