Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, B.A. Applied Languages: French K-12 Teaching Licensure Concentration

424

The French K-12 Teaching Licensure major is designed to ensure a well-rounded preparation in French language, literature, and culture. In addition, you will take pedagogy courses, teaching internships, and a semester of student teaching in local high schools.

If you are seeking initial licensure to teach in North Carolina, you must work closely with the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures and the School of Education, since both entities certify competence and recommend you to the State. Please note that the education part of the licensure degree is a two-year sequence that starts in the fall.
