Biography

Vladislav Maksimov is an Associate Professor and Director of the MS in International Business in the Management Department of the Bryan School of Business and Economics. His primary areas of research include global strategy, sustainability management, and emerging markets. Vladislav teaches several doctoral seminars and master’s level courses in international business and the undergraduate capstone strategy course. He is the dissertation chair of four PhD students and member of three dissertation committees. He is on the Editorial Review Board at Journal of International Business Studies and the 2024 International Management Division’s HKUST Best Paper in Global Strategy award recipient.
