James Milanese
Biography
Jim earned his BS in Finance (1989), MA in Economics (1992) and MBA (1997) all from UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics. Jim currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at The Bryan School, teaching undergraduate corporate finance, investments, entrepreneurial finance, personal finance and real estate classes. He is also involved with curriculum design, student advising, new course development and executive education. Jim is the 2007 recipient of the Bryan School Teaching Excellence Award.

Professional ACtivities
Jim provides consulting services to various companies and non-profit agencies throughout North Carolina. He is a former equity analyst for Saybrook Capital, an investment counseling firm headquartered in Winston Salem NC and served for over fifteen years as CFO of Piedmont Disability Representatives.
Licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker
Jim is a past President of the Bryan School Alumni Association, and a life member of Beta Gamma Sigma – the international honor society for collegiate schools of business. He is a member of the Ellis Island Foundation, a Charter Founding Member of the Peopling of America Center at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, past Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Greensboro Ballet and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Room at the Inn of the Triad.
Jim has completed The Center For Creative Leadership’s Foundations of Leadership (2006), Leadership Development (2009), Coaching for Greater Effectiveness (2013), Assessment Certification Workshop (2014) and Navigating Change (2015) programs.
