The new UNCG homepage.

UNCG launched a new, modern website in late December 2022. The nearly 3 year-long effort included more than 150 people from across the campus to develop.

The new website is organized by user need with a specific focus on prospective students. This is a huge shift from what was a website organized by business silos. With the new site, no longer does an online visitor need to understand the University’s organizational structure to find the help and information they seek. For instance, visitors can easily access admissions as well as cost, aid, and scholarship information. For our current students, faculty and staff, key everyday resources like Canvas, Starfish, and UNCGenie among others, are located in the menu and all convened under “Resources.”

The website launch included the following sites:

As previously communicated, University units are required to move their individual websites to the new website design by the end of the 2023 calendar year. Units are encouraged to reach out to nextgenweb@uncg.edu to schedule a consultation meeting to discuss timelines.

To request a content change on uncg.edu, visit 6-Tech Service Now, select  “Get It.”  Once on the “Get It” page, please select “Communications Services” and then “UNCG.edu Content Update Request.”

The Next Generation Website Project team applauds and appreciates the hard work by members of the website content team, web developers group, and many more who worked in consultation with these teams. We look forward to our continued collaboration to keep the site up-to-date for our Spartans.
