Faculty from UNC Greensboro’s School of Nursing will be recognized at a special presentation this week for their work with nurses who are assisting the refugees from the Ukraine.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend the presentation on Thursday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m. in the first-floor lobby of the Nursing and Instructional Building. North Carolina Representative Ashton Clemmons, a UNCG alumna, will speak, and there will also be a special message from Governor Roy Cooper.

Dr. Audrey Snyder has been featured on various TV news programs and social media platforms to share how Nursing faculty is training nurses in Moldova, who are now receiving many Ukrainian refugees. Others involved include Dr. Vadim Korogoda and former faculty members Dr. Nancy Hoffart and Dr. Deborah Lekan.

The Guilford Rotary Club has been instrumental in the funding of the North Carolina Moldova Collaborative for many years.
