Shawn O’Neil (Academic Achievement Center) presented a keynote address at the second-annual Tutor Alliance Spring Conference, sponsored and hosted by CUNY’s Bronx Community College, on April 30, 2021. The keynote address focused on ways to find, and grow, a professional learning community in a virtual environment, in line with this year’s conference theme: “A Tale of Two Practices: The dichotomy of tutoring centers as virtual and face-to-face communities of practice.” Shawn is a well-regarded keynote speaker in the realm of learning assistance, and the session was attended by 98 representatives from 22 different colleges across the United States.
