UNCG’s Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in Climate Justice is designed for students interested in strengthening their knowledge and credentials around issues of sustainability and activism.
This interdisciplinary program, in conjunction with UNCG’s Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, considers forms of power, privilege, and oppression alongside the technical understanding of global heating and the climate crisis. The P.B.C. in Climate Justice empowers you with knowledge about this social-ecological nexus and equips you with the skills to analyze dominant value systems for work in an array of emerging climate careers.
This certificate is also a direct pathway into the M.S. in Sustainability and Environment, as all courses count toward the M.S. degree and graduate studies at UNCG. For additional flexibility, courses are offered in a mix of online and on-campus formats.
