UNCG mascot Spiro poses in front of the cheerleaders.

National College Colors Day falls on September 1, which means students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni are all encouraged to dress for the occasion. It also coincides with UNC Greensboro’s first Blue & Gold Friday of the fall semester, and what better place to feel that Spartan energy than at the men’s soccer game against Louisville?

You might see UNCG staff passing out blue and gold Spartan-themed t-shirts to students across campus in the coming days. We will celebrate Blue & Gold Friday at the soccer game, but all faculty and staff are invited to sport their Spartan get-up the entire day – in the classroom, on the quad, and in the office.

Faculty and staff who go to the game at the UNCG Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m. can also participate in a raffle for a chance to win some fun prizes.
