The SoCon Basketball Tournament – men’s and women’s – is this week at Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville. UNCG women’s basketball enters as a #1 seed after securing the regular season championship and will play Western Carolina on Thursday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. against #8 Western Carolina.

UNCG men’s basketball has secured the #2 overall seed and will play on Saturday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. against the winner of #7 VMI or #10 The Citadel. Click here to view the men’s and women’s bracket.

Faculty and Staff

UNCG offers faculty and staff discounted tickets. General Admission Single Session, good for any session, are 2 for $35 (50% off) or 1 for $25. (Tickets are $35 per person regularly.)

Admission for children 5 and under is free in any general admission session. Everyone over the age of 2 must have a purchased ticket to sit in a reserved seating section.

To purchase tickets, please contact Director of Ticket Sales Anthony Moore (admoore10@uncg.edu) at 859.640.4524 before 5 p.m. Wednesday of this week. Moore will be on-site in Asheville by Wednesday evening.

Note: Access to the campus box office may be limited due to construction in the Coleman Building this week.

Tickets can be picked up at the UNCG will call on game day or can be picked up in Asheville at the UNCG pre-game events at the Embassy Suites on Haywood Street. Call or text Anthony Moore at 859.640.4524 for more information.
