ITS has developed a one-stop-shop to view the new uncg.edu theme’s web assets. The resource is designed to simplify the process of creating accessible, mobile-friendly, and brand compliant university websites using WordPress.

With campus-wide assistance, UNCG has dedicated significant time and effort to creating a visually appealing, user-friendly theme that meets the highest standards of design, usability, and branding guidelines. The UNCG Web Assets site features a wide range of theme information. Specifically, the blocks and resources pages are expected to be most helpful to you as your unit begins their migration process.

Blocks

  • The Blocks section provides modular design elements to help digital designers, developers, and everyday users create responsive and accessible content layouts in the new WordPress block editor, Gutenberg. These ready-to-use blocks are designed to simplify the website development process and make it easier for users to adhere to University web development and branding standards.

Resources

  • The Resources section contains a wealth of online resources, color standards, and web standards designed to provide users with a comprehensive understanding of our new theme. By using these resources, users can enhance their knowledge of website development and design while creating websites that meet the highest standards of quality.

We will continue to add new features and enhancements to Web Assets and our new theme, so be sure to check back frequently. If you have any inquiries regarding migration, training, or general information, please use the Get Connected section of the site to let us know.
