Randall Kaplan and Susan Morris Safran ’77 were surprised with the presentation of The Order of the Long Leaf Pine awards during the UNC Greensboro Celebration of Philanthropy event. Governor Roy Cooper was there to personally present these high honors.

Fun, games, and philanthropy at Founders Day 2022

Students, faculty, and staff celebrated 130 years of transforming lives and creating opportunity with giveaways, games, and music. This Founders Day also marked the one-year anniversary of the public launch of the Light the Way campaign, which has raised more than $140 million so far toward the $200 million goal.
