UNCG’s B.S. in Accounting program offers courses focused on the preparation and analysis of financial statements, the use of accounting information for business decisions, and taxation and auditing. The bachelor’s in Accounting curriculum

Our Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting develops your competencies in a broad range of essential business areas to support the expertise you’ll develop in the world of accounting.  In addition to the general UNCG admission requirements, admission to UNCG’s B.S. in Accounting degree requires the completion of 29–30 credit hours of Bryan School Pre-Admission Courses by the end of your sophomore year. These courses will build your foundations in critical business skills including economics, analytics, writing and communication, mathematics, and personal and professional development.

After Graduating with YOUR b.s. in accounting

Yes, you can choose a double major with your B.S. in Accounting degree. The Accounting degree curriculum is designed to pair especially well with a second major in Finance, but you can choose a number of other minors or second majors to complement your accounting degree. Our Accounting Minor can complement almost any major offered at UNCG, and our Business Minor is also available to students from outside the Bryan School of Business and Economics.
