Courses in the International Business program include a strong business foundation, cultural and sustainability coursework, advanced foreign language, and a study abroad requirement. You will take courses in a variety of areas to learn how to analyze the international environment, understand different cultures, and conduct business across borders.

Program Distinctions

  • This program requires experiences and competencies in areas such as a foreign language and study abroad that are not required in other business programs.
  • Only 1 percent of business schools worldwide share the Bryan School’s dual AACSB accreditation in business and accounting.

The Student Experience

  • The Department of Management offers an experiential learning course with students securing internships or other positions in varied organizations such as Bank of America, Koury Convention Center, Merrill Lynch, the Embassy of Mexico, and Walt Disney World. Many students have continued employment at these sites after graduation.
  • Participation in the study abroad program provides hands-on international experience and cross-cultural learning. There are options for exchange programs in approximately 26 countries.
  • There are a variety of student clubs available at the Bryan School, such as Alpha Kappa Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, National Millennial Community, North Carolina Sales Institute, Spartan Investment Club, and THREADS. 
  • Events such as Company Spotlights introduce students to the local business community and provide an overview of available internship and employment prospects.

After Graduation

You can customize this program to fit your professional aspirations and take courses in which you explore real-world business situations. Graduates possess sought-after intercultural competencies and have the ability to apply them to business decision-making.
