The UNCG Horn Choir and the UNCG Chariots will perform Friday, December 2 during Downtown Greensboro, Inc.’s Festival of Lights. The annual tradition brings the Greensboro community together for a tree lighting, music, food, and a vendors such as the UNCG Student Art Market who will help put a dent in the holiday shopping list. This year, UNCG is sponsoring circus performers and an eight-foot-tall LED robot who will promote the new Esports program.
In the spirit of giving, UNCG will once again hold the Toys for Joy Parade. On December 12, you can contribute to this worthwhile cause by bringing an unwrapped toy for a child between the ages four to sixteen. Those toys will go to children in foster care. You don’t even need to leave your car. Drive up to the Alumni House, and volunteers will collect the donated toys.

As a way to thank UNCG for a continued partnership this 2022-23 baseball season, the Greensboro Swarm are offering University employees group offers and rates each month. The first offer is for the games this Friday and Saturday, November 4-5. A ticket purchase will also enter the employee’s name into giveaways each month.
