Dr. Laurie Kennedy-Malone (Nursing) received the Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award at the 2020 Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) conference, which was held virtually in late September. She is a former president of the National Conference of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners, and she currently chairs the GAPNA’s education committee.
