Dr. Rebecca Libera on completing her DMA degree in May, 2009

Leah Plimpton on completing her MM Degree in May 2009, her wedding June, 5, 2009, and she and her husband securing jobs in Maryland!

Dr. Carol Lowe on her appointment as full-time tenure track bassoon professor at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam

Elaine Peterson on her tenure track appointment as Assistant Professor of History and Double Reeds at Mississippi State University

Thomas Dempster on receiving a prestigious BMI award in composition. Tom is now working on his Doctorate in composition at the University of Texas at Austin

Matthew Stein on the CD Fashion for the Evildoer by L.A. Tool and Die breaking the College Radio Station Top 100 list. Matt plays amplified bassoon with the group and makes the bassoon arrangements. Their website is http://www.latoolanddie.com

David Bryant, Carol Lowe, and Elaine Peterson all performed (in separate events) at the IDRS 2005 conference in Austin, TX..

PhD Music Education student and secondary bassoonist Lorie Enloe has been appointed as an assistant professor of Music Education at the University of Idaho beginning Fall 2006.
