The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has
the following opportunities for Graduate Assistantships and Fellowships
in Bassoon Performance:
Fellowships up to $20,000.00.
Assistantships:
Master's Degrees: up to $3,500.00
Doctoral Degrees: up to $7,500.00
Tuition waivers are also available.
- Assistantships are awarded for a maximum of 20 clock hours per week.
- Teaching and non-teaching assignments are available.
- Some positions may require a personal interview and/or augmented live
audition.

Fellowship applicants must be fully admitted by March 1st
Assistantship applicants must apply and audition by February 27th
Audition dates for Master's applicants:
December 5, 2009; January 23, 2010; February 6, 2010; February 27,
2010 (Burns will not be available on February 27th so please aim
to audition on one of the earlier dates if possible)
DMA auditions are scheduled by appointment
Audition Requirements:
The application process includes submitting forms three weeks prior
to
audition to the Graduate School and performing an audition for the
School of Music faculty:

2. GRE score
3. Transcripts
4. Three recommendations
School of Music Audition
1. Undergraduate Degree in music (Master's for D.M.A.)
2. Audition Request Form (for all performance degrees)
3. pre-audition tape (for D.M.A.)
4. Campus audition/interview
