Thank you for your interest in the Interior Architecture program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We support an engaged community of design students and faculty here, and I invite you to discover more about us. The undergraduate program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation(CIDA) formerly the Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER.)

Because we offer an individual workspace to each student, enrollment in the program is limited. Students are admitted on evidence of scholastic achievement, creative potential, motivation, and self-direction, as indicated by personal information you will provide in your application for admission to IARc.

The application process has two parts: one to UNCG and another to IARc. If you were unable to attend an open house, which is a requirement for admissions into IARc, you may contact Tommy Lambeth, chair of the department, by email to schedule a personal appointment; tom_lambeth@uncg.edu

Applicants wishing to transfer credits from other design programs must bring their transcripts and a portfolio to an individual appointment. Portfolio materials are required to determine whether design courses from other institutions will be considered for transfer to UNCG.
