Research Skills Tutorial
Sharpen your research skills and improve your grades.
The North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) offers online and on-campus classes that meet all UNCG General Education Core requirements. Tuitions are generally lower than UNCG tuition for in-state students, and you may apply up to 64 credits from two-year schools toward your 122-credit minimum at UNCG.

Registration & Financial Aid
To register for an online class at a North Carolina community college, contact that college directly, let them know you are a degree-seeking student at UNCG, and register for your class as a visiting student. Be sure to have an official transcript sent to UNCG once you have completed each class, and check your degree evaluation to confirm that each class has met the intended requirement at UNCG.
All financial aid arrangements must be made through the school at which you are a degree-seeking student (UNCG). To be safe, if you are taking financial aid, let both financial aid offices know that you are a degree-seeking student at UNCG, and that you are taking classes toward that degree at the community college.
