UNCG's Facilities and Administrative Cost Rate / Indirect Costs Effective Dates July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2013
Organized Research:

• NEW On-Campus Rate: 43.5% (Memo regarding changes to the Indirect Cost rate)
• Off-Campus Rate: 26%
  The off-campus rate is applicable in the following cases:
  • For all activities performed in facilities not owned by the institution and to which rent is directly allocated to the project(s)
  • Actual costs will be apportioned between on-campus and off-campus components
  • Each portion will bear the appropriate rate
• Indirect Costs cannot be charged on tuition or on capital expenditures costing $5000 or more
