Fringe Benefits, Budget Rates for 2009-2010
Under normal circumstances, use a total fringe benefit rate of 28% for faculty and .3% for enrolled students and 7.95% for students not enrolled. Funders sometimes require a more precise breakdown of benefits; in such cases please consult the information below.- Full-time employees paid 100% by grant:
- Social Security FICA 7.65% or
- Employment Disruption / Discontinuation Reserve. This is .003 or .3% times the total base salaries.
