The online RAMSeS system (log-on with your Novell user name and password) has replaced the traditional "green folder" grant application procedure.
Effective April 1, 2008, RAMSeS will be used for electronically routing the internal processing forms (IPF's) that are used in the OSP green folders. Principal Investigators (PIs) will have the option to continue submitting a green folder after April 1, but MUST also use RAMSeS to route all required documents.
Effective August 15, 2008, green folders will no longer be accepted in the OSP. The routing of internal processing forms as well as all proposal documents must be submitted electronically through RAMSeS. The pre-award routing forms accessible on the OSP website, as well as the paper versions housed in the OSP office will no longer be available.
PRE-AWARD
The "Intent to Apply Form" has been replaced with RAMSeS. If you are planning to submit a proposal you should log into RAMSeS and start a new proposal. Once you complete the "General Info and Investigators" sections, the information entered is used by the OSP staff in the same manner the "Intent to Apply" form was used in the past.
For assistance with the new RAMSeS system or for general assistance with grant proposal preparation, please contact us. We can provide guidance that should save you time and improve your proposal. The earlier in the process that you see us, the more we can help.
If you would like assistance with developing your proposal budget, please contact Karen Patrick in the Dean's Office of the College of Arts & Sciences. If you do not need assistance with the budget, please allow three business days prior to submission deadline for us to review the budget and approve your proposal in RAMSeS.
