Archaeological Field Schools: 2015

At UNCG’s Anthropology Department we encourage our students to study abroad and to experience anthropological fieldwork during their undergraduate careers.  During summer 2015 faculty members Dr. Donna Nash and Dr. Charles Egeland will one again be leading international archeological field school experiences (6 credits) for our students (and for students from other universities). 

Contisuyo Archeological Lab School in Peru (June 13–July 23).

Dr. Nash’s course will focus on the analysis of archaeological materials that her teams have excavated from the monumental palace site of Cerro Baúl in Moquegua, Peru (600-1000CE). Contact Dr. Donna Nash for further information.

Paleoanthropological Field School at Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania (June 13–July 13)
