Project Safe Love - Project Safe Love is a counseling and educational program related to intimate partner violence in same-sex relationships. The program is co-directed with Dr. Keith Mobley, run through the Vacc Counseling and Consulting Clinic, and funded by the Guilford Green Foundation.
Women's Leadership Network for Safe and Healthy Relationships - This project involves training and support for a core group of residents of the Eastside Park neighborhood in Southeast Greensboro . These residents will then develop and implement community-based programming in their neighborhood focused on promoting safe and healthy relationships and preventing domestic violence. This project is funded through the United Way of Greater Greensboro, and the other UNCG faculty involved are Dr. Paige Hall Smith in the Center for Women's Health and Wellness and Dr. Jackie White in the Department of Psychology.
Couples Resource Map Scales - This on-line assessment instrument is designed to measure the amount of support couples receive for their relationship from various personal, relationship, and contextual resources. The CRMS provides immediate feedback to people who complete the instrument in the form of a Couple's Resource Map.
The Relationship Resource Network - This website was developed to provide relationship information and resources for the general public.
Doin' It Well - This workbook was created by Dr. Murray's Sexuality Counseling students in Fall 2007 for sexuality counseling clients and anyone interested in examining aspects of their sexuality as it relates to their overall wellness. This web-site also includes Volume 2 of the Sexuality Counseling Guidebook developed for use by mental health professionals.
Birds, Bees, and Beyond - Students in Dr. Murray's Sexuality Counseling course in Fall 2006 developed this public awareness campaign as part of a service-learning project for the course. The mission of the campaign is to educate people about aspects of sexuality beyond physiology.
The Greensboro Youth and Family Initiative - This initiative aims to meet the current needs of the Greensboro community by providing high-quality, affordable counseling and educational services for children, adolescents, and their families. Services are provided through the Vacc Counseling and Consulting Clinic, and the Initiative is funded through the Future Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. The other CED faculty involved in this project are Drs. Keith Mobley and Amy Milsom.
