- Only instructors can post.
- Podcasts must be created elsewhere*; Blackboard supports hosting and subscription.
- Accepts audio in mp3 format.
- Accepts video in .mov and .wmv formats (does not accept flash - .flv or .swf).
- Subscription service for iTunes, Google and more.
- Can limit access to course members.
- Can upload accompanying materials, such as presentations or transcripts.
*If the podcasts will be audio, use Audacity and record with a headset.
