Sandra Mace

 


Sandra Mace is the Program Coordinator for the Music Research Institute (MRi) at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro (UNCG). As program coordinator, she works with faculty and student researchers in the MRi, supervises two laboratories, and directs implementation of the Hearing Protection Policy at the School of Music. She also serves on the UNCG institutional review board. She is published in the Journal of Band Research, Music Performance Research, and Medical Problems of Performing Artists. Her research on sound-level exposure and hearing loss among musicians, and genre identification has been presented at the International Conference of Music Perception and Cognition (Bologna, Italy), National Conference of Music Perception and Cognition, Music Educator’s National Conference, North Carolina Music Educators State Conference, and the North Carolina – American Choral Directors Association. 336-256-2581 or email: stmace@triad.rr.com
