Come on back

There's nothing quite like coming home. When you return for Homecoming celebrations the week of Oct. 29-Nov. 4, you can get swept up in a number of festivities starting with a College Avenue kickoff and ending with a family weekend at Piney Lake. And then there's everything in between. Read more about Homecoming highlights such as the Quad tours and a “literary homecoming.”

Join the club

No matter where you are, you can stay connected to UNCG. Read more about UNCG Alumni Clubs in DC, Atlanta, NYC, Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro.

Giving honor

If you've been thinking about nominating someone for one of UNCG's highest awards, now is the time to do so. The deadline for the Charles Duncan McIver and Holderness/Weaver Awards is Oct. 22. The deadline for alumni awards is Jan. 5. Read more about the criteria for each award and learn where to submit your nomination.

Working knowledge

If you have a career, calling or vocation, you have something to share. Career Services on campus is looking for alumni to work with students as they start thinking about next steps. Read more about how you can help.

Is a job fair worth your time?

“There wasn't one opening for me!” I hear it a lot and I'm wondering if any of you feel that way, too. The way to make it work is to totally turn your thinking around. Read more from Kathleen Martinek, former UNCG alumni career counselor.
