Counseling & Psychological Services offers a wide range of services designed to support and challenge your personal growth, academic success, and emotional health.  We serve currently enrolled UNC Greensboro students and also provide services and programs to promote positive mental health throughout the University community.

Our services not only enhance the quality of each Spartans’ college experience but also contribute to their academic retention and success.

how we help

We offer workshops, group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, alcohol, and drug counseling, as well as recovery support through the Spartan Recovery Program. We offer psychiatric services, case management, referrals, consultation, and outreach and education activities for the UNCG community.

Our staff includes licensed psychologists, counselors, clinical social workers, board-certified nurse practitioners, as well as graduate trainees.

We are located on the second floor of the Anna M. Gove Student Health Services Center. We are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our services are offered by appointment. However, we are aware that situations requiring immediate attention can occur for students. If you need crisis services, no appointment is needed. If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis, call 336-334-5874 or contact the UNCG Police at their 24-hour number, 336-334-4444.
